Design and Production
Social responsibility and sustainability are at the core of Souvenir. We constantly challenge our suppliers to offer solutions with dramatically reduced environmental impact, short supply chains and a long lasting quality under ethical manufacturing conditions.
The garments are produced in Portugal by one single reliable partner, which itself has high social, ethical and ecological standards. Beside producing up to 43 % of its needed energy by solar panels, the producer provides several major certifications in the field of ethnical, social and sustainable manufacturing, such as GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), BCI (Better Cotton Initiative), OEKO-TEX (Customer Confidence & High Product Safety), GRS (Global Recycle Standard), SA8000 and The NP4552 (Social Accountability), and SEDEX (Supplier Ethical Data Exchange).
